My Go-To Book Linky Party :)

The wonderful Stephanie from Teaching in Room 6 is having a Go-To Book Linky Party and being a total teacher book fiend, I had to join :)  I swear my husband just laughs when I bring yet another teaching book into the bedroom to read at night (with a huge stack already on my nightstand) while he is reading fun stuff like Stephen King!  Please check out my picks and head over to Stephanie's blog to check out the other wonderful book picks :)

What is your teaching Go-To book? What are some teaching resource books that you couldn't live without?
These are a few of my favorite books:
(If you just hummed the song "These Are a Few of My Favorite Things", that's what I was going for...hehe :)
The Next Step in Guided Reading by Jan Richardson
The Continuum of Literacy Learning, Grades PreK-8: A Guide to Teaching
by Gay Su Pinnell and Irene Fountas
Making the Most of Small Groups by Debbie Diller
Student Successes with Thinking Maps by David Hyerle
The Power of Our Words by Paula Denton
All of these books really helped me become the teacher that I am and truly changed the way I teach :)
I hope that you find them as helpful and wonderful as I do!

Good luck at work tomorrow! I know how you feel about missing your students. They will be so eager to share and give hugs! Now I am getting a bit more excited!
