That's exactly what I proposed my students do. I gave them this template and bought some foam hearts from the Target dollar section and set them to work. We've been working for a little over a week and we have about fifty acts of kindness done (they have until Valentine's Day to finish 100 acts of kindness for the class). I must say they've really seemed to be trying A LOT harder to be kind to each other which makes me one HAPPY teacher! :) Here's our door so far... And if you'd like the template I used to for their hearts click HERE or the pic of the template below :)
Enjoy and have a FAB rest of your Monday!

My principal gave all of us this book at our school wide meeting. We ( the kids and I) really liked it and I'm thrilled to see the way your kids have responded. Great job!

Had to order this book. After having No name calling weeek a few weeks ago at our school. It seems like their is more attention to that behavior. So this would be great to read around V-day. (Focus on the good behavior) Thanks for sharing the book idea.
